Compostable polymer film

Plastic Suppliers has introduced EarthFirstTM PLA (polylactic acid) films made from Cargill Dow's BioWorksTM, a biopolymer. The film has both transparent and non-smooth forms, and it is 100% compostable because it is made from grains instead of petrochemicals. It is reported that the typical characteristics of this film are as good as some plastic films of the same kind, and some are even better. It has been applied to cartons window film, labels on the front of raw materials and packaging. This film complies with FDA's relevant policies and regulations and can keep up with the reading speed of the USPS machine.
