Reduce cash register hardware noise

Reduce cash register hardware noise

1. Reduce resonance noise

To reduce hard drive noise, minimize resonance with the chassis. Everyone can remove the hard disk from the chassis and find that the hard disk does not have any connection with the chassis, and the working noise will be very small. We can reduce the noise of the hard disk and the chassis by adding rubber pads and other methods to achieve noise reduction.

First prepare four rubber pads of about 1 mm thick and nail-sized, and then use scissors to open the middle of the rubber pad, as long as the hard-drive fixing screws can pass through. Next, insert the hard disk into the hard disk frame of the chassis. Note that the rubber pad should be caught between the hard disk frame and the hard disk at the same time, and the opening should be aligned with the fixing screw of the hard disk. Finally, tighten the hard disk fixing screws through the rubber pad. Alternatively, you can use a flexible rubber strip to create a suspension system that uses a rubber strip to hang the hard drive under the hard drive bay, thus avoiding the rigid connection of the hard drive and the bracket and avoiding resonance noise.

2. Reduce read and write noise

To reduce the read and write noise of the hard disk, you can organize the hard disk on time to reduce file fragmentation. This can reduce the range of movement of the magnetic head, and can also reduce the hard disk noise to a certain extent. In addition, special hard disk mute tools can be installed. These hard disk tools can extend the seek time of the hard disk, thus reducing the performance of the hard drive (1% or so) and reducing the hard disk noise. For example, the Maxtor hard disk can use the AcousticManagement tool to execute the tool under pure DOS. The command parameter prompt shown in Figure 12 will appear. The first parameter is Quiet mode (the quietest, but the hard disk performance is reduced more). The second item is Fast mode (relatively quiet, the performance of the hard disk is reduced). The third item is to turn off the noise reduction function (the hard disk has the highest performance but the noise is the highest); the fourth item is to check the operation status of the current hard disk noise reduction function. .

For IBM/Hitachi hard drives, you can use the IBM hard drive hypervisor Feature Tool, which will automatically create an IBMDOS2000 floppy disk and then boot the system with this floppy disk. Select the "ChangeAcousticLevel" item in the interface that appears, and then you can change the sound mode of the hard disk. For example, you can select the low noise mode (Quick Seek Mode) or the high performance normal mode (Normal SeekMode). Of course, other brands of hard drives have similar dedicated noise reduction tools, you can go to the hard disk official website to find. In addition, the motherboard chipset has similar optimization tools, such as INERA's IAA (IntelApplication Accelerator) software can activate the "automatic sound management" function of the hard disk.

Clear Aluminum Mirror

Aluminum Mirror is also called aluminized glass mirror, glass mirror, mirror glass, mirror plate glass. Based on the different reflective layers on the back, civilian mirrors are generally divided into aluminized glass mirrors and silver-coated glass mirrors. The aluminum mirror is the aluminum coated with the reflective layer, and its reflectivity is lower than that of the silver-coated glass mirror.

In addition, we also sell Silver Mirror glass, silver mirror commonly known as waterproof mirror, mercury mirror, silver-plated mirror on glass surface, glass mirror, mirror glass, etc. Silver mirrors are widely used in furniture, handicrafts, decoration, bathroom mirrors, cosmetic mirrors, optical mirrors, and car rearview mirrors.
