Inconsistent printing colors will seriously affect the aesthetics of the product, causing customers to complain and return goods to the carton factory. Generally speaking, there are two situations for the color change when printing the same barrel of ink: First, the color is changed after the ink is produced on the machine; Second, the barrel of ink is used multiple times to change. This article focuses on the first situation!

1. The ink has been produced since it was put on the machine, which may cause color changes.

Large order printing often occurs in production, such as the production of Wahaha, unified instant noodles, Mengniu, Yili and Other products, often the same ink but different colors are printed. These orders are very large, and each printing takes a long time to work. From the ink on the machine in the morning, it may not be printed until the afternoon. The color of this period is easy to fluctuate. The color was normal at the beginning of printing, and the color began to darken after 1.5 hours of printing. At this time, the operator likes to add water to the ink to make the color lighter. After printing for another 1.5 hours, the color density of the color decreased slightly. In this way, the colors of this batch are very different.

There are many ways to control the ink, but in the production process, it is often to see the color change before starting to adjust the ink color, rather than preventing the color change of the ink in advance. To make the same batch of orders and color production consistent, we must consider the factors of printing machinery. At this time, it is necessary to collect the production color data of the printing press, sample, and formulate the appropriate interval to adjust the ink! The specific steps are as follows:

1. Determine the appropriate speed: verify the ink speed and color at the same viscosity, open the speed at 80 sheets / minute, 120 sheets / minute, and 160 sheets / minute, and then sample to arrange the three colors to see if there is any difference in color . For example: 120 sheets / minute, the color is stable, then you can set the speed to about 120 sheets / minute.

2. Test the ink and determine the appropriate adjustment time: The speed of the ink in the same barrel is controlled at 120-130 sheets / minute, monitor the viscosity of the ink, take color samples every 15 minutes, and distribute the color samples evenly after 4 hours of production To view the degree of color change. If the color starts to change every 50 minutes, then you need to start the ink adjustment in about 40 minutes.
