Toshiba has developed an ultra-large hybrid injection molding machine

Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. has begun to sell ultra-large mixed injection molding machines with a clamping force of over 1,000 tons. The hybrid injection molding machine is made by incorporating a fully automatic injection molding device on a hydraulic mainframe DF series hydraulic clamping device. The high cycle of high response and mode switching action is achieved by fully automatic injection. This device can save more than 40% of energy consumption compared with previous hydraulic presses.
