Graphic Serial Color Printing Process Introduction

In the packaging and decorating printing process, some brand-name printed matters such as trademarks, packaging materials, and book covers have adopted cross-color printing techniques to highlight the creativity of printed products and enhance the visual effects and artistic level of printed products.
The so-called cross-color printing, is to use the same background color, while printing two or more colors of ink. The method is based on the requirements of the design of the printing manuscript in the ink fountain, and is directly divided by a mold section, and is divided into small compartments. Then, inks of different colors are placed in the ink fountains corresponding to the vertical color of the different layouts. In this way, after the ink fountain rotates, various colors of ink can be output at the same time, and under the action of the tandem roller, the adjacent boundary sections of each color ink penetrate and mix with each other, and after passing to the layout, a natural and exquisite color transition is formed. This kind of printing can achieve a variety of colors. It is a graphic color printing process. There is also called "differentiated color" printing; or "clip color", "mixed color" printing and so on.
The cross-color printing process originated from the letterpress printing machine, and afterwards, the offset printing machine also adopted this printing process, thereby exerting a good effect in packaging and decorating printing. Because this process can reach many different levels of colors at a time, the process is convenient, the printing efficiency is high, the product cost is low, and the quality is excellent. It is welcomed by many printing customers.
Talking about the advantages of cross-color printing process is obvious, then, how to print cross-color printing products? First of all, you must make a good isolation ink mold. Since the ink has a certain degree of fluidity and permeability, when the various colors of ink are placed in the separate sections in the ink fountain, special molds should be used to accurately separate the adjacent oil in order to prevent the poor accuracy of the mold and the adjacent colors. When the ink rotates in the ink fountain, mutual penetration occurs and the position of the ink is reversed, so that the hue of the printing is changed and the printing effect is affected. Therefore, the mold for isolating ink should be made of soft lead. When pouring, first use a cardboard to cut a triangular plate with a curved edge corresponding to the inclination, arc and the ink fountain steel plate and the iron roller, and then put the model plate on the side of the ink fountain and press the required mold. Thickness, adjust the distance between it and the side of the ink tank, and fix it slightly. The molten lead is then poured into the sides of the separator, and the mold that separates the ink when it solidifies. The thickness of the mold and the size of the stroke of the ink roller will directly affect the depth of engagement between two adjacent colors. Therefore, when printing a series of color chart products, the line spacing of the ink string should be adjusted according to the designed cross-color spacing, and the thickness specifications of the mold should be selected so as to print the cross-colored prints that meet the original design requirements.
To print a series of color map products, in addition to carefully grasp the process, the operating specifications are also related to the key aspects of printing efficiency and quality. Therefore, the printing pressure should be adjusted evenly and solidly so that the layout can be evenly distributed and the normal ink layer transfer can be ensured. This is one aspect. In another aspect, it is necessary to adjust the amount of ink to be delivered. The output of various inks in the ink fountain should be uniform so as to avoid inconsistent “cross-colored” traces in the longitudinal direction of the layout and affect product quality. When adjusting the ink volume, it is advisable to adjust the gap between the steel plate and the iron roller after adjusting the stroke of the ink roller to the maximum limit. In this way, the stroke of the ink fountain roller increases, the gap between the steel sheet and the iron roller can be relatively reduced, and the ink layer can be both thin and uniform. Due to the large inking stroke, a thick, well-balanced layer of printing ink is formed after being transferred to the layout. In addition, the degree of contact between the individual ink rollers and the height of the ink roller are adjusted. In this way, it is possible to maintain the layout ink color evenly in the cross-color chart version products, and the natural color transition between the cross-colored sections of the cross-section is natural, which makes people look after the visual of the exquisite prints, but is a kind of art feeling.
