Turn the adjusting nut to tighten the steel rule until the reading line in the observation window is in line with the scale line on the panel. Read the values ​​in the steel ruler and dial indicator, and add the two to get the measuring point distance. After each measurement is completed, first loosen the adjusting nut, then withdraw the hook to remove the steel ruler, wipe it clean and put it back, and regularly apply anti-rust grease. 5 Regarding temperature correction When determining the initial value, the current temperature value should be recorded at the same time, and the environmental temperature should be measured at the same time during each subsequent sword observation.
