Q: Do your machines need special environmental requirements?

Answer: UV-SETTER can work normally under ordinary environment. Temperature: 18 ~ 24C; Humidity: 20 ~ 80%, no water condensation. There is no need to prepare dark room or yellow light lighting like other CTP equipment, and the daylight conditions can be.

Q: How is the stability of your machine?

A: Our imaging technology has been accumulated for more than + years, and we have installed thousands of units worldwide. These data have shown that our equipment is mature.

Q: I heard that some other manufacturers in the market also produce direct plate-making machines for traditional plates. How does your equipment compare with them?

Answer: We know these manufacturers. They may have a good concept, but I can tell you that these devices have been released in recent years. Their immature and unstable devices are not comparable to those we have developed for more than a few years. (Some information about LUSCHER, released in 2006, the price of the equipment is very high, 200 to 3 million, the speed is much lower than the publicity.)

Q: The resolution of your device is only 1500dpi, which is too low.

A: Our equipment can easily screen 200 lines, which can meet the needs of most printed products. With the front-end rip, our machine can output 250 to 300 lines or even higher screen lines, and can do some very demanding printing tasks. The dots output by our device are unique square dots with very sharp edges. Compared with the general CTP devices, it is difficult to control the round dots. We can reproduce the printed matter more realistically, and also allow our device to output high-quality at low resolution. Printed materials, reduce data volume and save document processing time.

Although the general CTP has a high resolution, we know that there are many factors that affect the dot restoration. In addition to the pre-press image processing, it also includes many other factors, such as plate limitations, printing process control, ink control, paper, etc. So, the so-called high resolution of these devices is often difficult to achieve in the actual production process.

About plates

Q: Can your equipment use processing-free plates?

A: Our equipment can be exposed on plate materials in the wavelength range from 360nm to 450nm, which of course includes some processing-free plates. We have also been testing some other processing-free plates.

Q: Can your equipment use negative plates?

Answer: Of course, our equipment can expose on the positive and negative plates. In fact, we recommend that you use a negative plate, because when you use a negative plate, you only expose it where there is an image. With 50% image coverage, the exposure speed on the negative plate is twice that of the positive plate.

Q: How many CTcP plates do you recommend?

A: The biggest advantage of CTcP is that it adapts to ordinary PS plates, which includes almost all plates. But the effect of use is different. We have done a lot of experiments in China and Germany. At that time, we can provide customers with experimental reports of various plates. Among them, some domestic PS version data exposed on CTcP is already better than the data provided by the German factory. Customers can make the best choice according to their own situation.

About the bulb

Q: What is the lifespan of your light bulb?

Answer: 2000 hours. The UV lamp is the only consumable for this device, and the cost equivalent to each plate is very low.

Q: Why is the life of the laser head much shorter than CTP?

Answer: The light source of CTP equipment is several + even hundreds of laser diodes. Although the life of individual light-emitting elements is relatively long, in fact, because of the relatively large number, the probability of damage is quite high. As far as we know, most of the CTP light source failures occur far below the actual life. In many cases, within 2000 hours, which is the life of our light bulb, it will be damaged. You need to know that for thermal CTP, the damage of a single diode will halve the performance of the entire system!
