New toughening agent for PBT materials

DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers of America recently developed a new ethylene-acrylate copolymer toughening agent Elvaloy PT 862 for PBT resin, which can greatly increase the impact strength of PBT resin, and at the same time the polymer The raw material hardness, mechanical strength, heat distortion temperature, etc., have little effect. This product can improve the tensile length and fluidity of PBT compared with commonly used toughening agents. PBT composites added with this toughening agent are mainly used for the manufacture of thin-walled electronic connectors.
