Ningxia successfully developed calcium carbide composite soft bag packaging

Ningxia Railway Lili Industrial Co., Ltd. has successfully developed a vinyl soft-fiber composite soft bag for the transportation and packaging of calcium carbide, which has broken the status quo of steel vessels that China has always undertaken for the transportation of calcium carbide and has been well received by the calcium carbide enterprises.

According to the company’s relevant sources, the vinylon water-soluble yarn composite flexible packaging bag has a three-layer structure, in which the intermediate layer and the outer layer are composite braided materials, and the inner layer is a bonded meshed vinylon-soluble yarn. Soft bags are produced using special bag machines. The adhesive used for the production of vinylon water-soluble yarn composite flexible bags is made by the company using proprietary technology. This adhesive has a strong ability to bind paper and yarn and solves the problems of quick-drying and flame-retardant.

Vinylon water-soluble yarn composite soft bag has high strength and low breakage rate. The needle hole of the packaging bag has a telescopic function. When the pressure in the bag increases, the pin hole of the sewing thread can be exhausted to prevent the occurrence of obstruction to ensure the safety of transportation. The inner layer has a moisture-absorbing effect and retards the decomposition reaction of calcium carbide. Under normal circumstances, maintaining pressure in the inner bag to resist the entry of outside air, thereby greatly reducing the rate of calcium carbide powder. The vinylon yarn used in the product is a material that is not treated with acetal and is easily dissolved in 80sE water, which is beneficial to the recycling of the bag. At the same time the product also has a buffer, heat resistance, anti-aging properties. As the material is soft, the empty bag can be folded and compacted and packaged for transport.

After testing, the physical and chemical indexes of the vinylon soft-wool yarn composite flexible packaging bag all meet the export packaging standards, and the technical performance is at the leading level at home and abroad.

The trial shows that this kind of bag is used for calcium carbide transport packaging, and the comprehensive cost per ton of calcium carbide transport packaging can save about 170 yuan. Among them, the cost of packaging was reduced by 55%, the transportation cost was reduced by 11%, and the chalkiness rate of calcium carbide was reduced from about 16% of steel drum packaging to about 5%.

It is reported that this product has now been applied to China's calcium carbide railway transport, and gradually gain more user approval. Ningxia Railway Lili Industrial Co., Ltd. also uses this bag to transport potassium hydroxide and sodium sulfide and prepares to ship other powdered mineral products, as well as grain, salt and feed.
