(6) Adjustment of folding roller linear speed and paper feeding distance The frequency of the motor is controlled by frequency conversion to change the linear speed of the folding roller. When adjusting the folding knife frequency and the folding roller speed, it must be carried out during the operation of the machine. The paper feed distance refers to the distance between the previous sheet and the next sheet. The general paper distance is the paper length plus 100 to 150 mm. If the sheet has been folded into a 6-sided, 3-page curl, three sheets of paper are inserted under each platen that passes thereafter. (2) Adjustment of gear gauge The number of folding fences determines the folding method and the number of folding. If it is the folding rule of folding the fence to 1/2 of the total length of the printed sheet, the fence that is not used is closed with a baffle. If it is reverse folding, close the upper fence and adjust the lower fence to 1/2 of the total length of the printed sheet. (3) Adjustment of fence folding space A triangular space is formed between the fence plate and the folding roller. The size of the space and the distance between the fence plates will affect the folding accuracy. The thickness of the folded paper should be adjusted. The thin paper should reduce the space and the thick paper should increase the space. Rotating the nut on the fence moves the lower front lip plate of the fence to increase the space, otherwise, the space decreases. (4) Adjustment of paper steering plate Each group of fence plates of the folding machine is equipped with a swinging paper steering plate.
