CIP4 brings together manufacturers, consultants, and end customers in graphic communications, graphic arts, and related industries to cover equipment, software, peripherals, and processes used in graphic communications, graphic arts, and related industries. What is JDF?
JDF is a standard industry document format that simplifies the exchange of information between different applications and systems in the graphic arts industry. 3. What areas of the workflow are included in the JDF?

The JDF specification includes three main parts:

4. Is there an official JDF certification process for graphic art products to support JDF?
In JDF version 1.2, a new concept ICS (Interoperability Conformance Specification) was introduced. To specify which devices require JDF support, members of CIP4 are developing ICS documents that will form the basis of JDF certification testing. Currently, CIP4 has signed an agreement with GATF (Graphic Graphic Arts Association), and GATF will become the first certification testing institution and will soon be promoted in Europe and Asia.
