Japan's Central Chemical Corporation develops plastics for food packaging containers

The world’s oldest plastic food container development expert, Japan’s Central Chemical Company, announced recently: After ten years of hard work, they have developed a plastic for food packaging containers that meets the environmental protection principle---CT.

The surface of the vessel made of CT plastic is not much different from other food packaging containers, but the internal quality is greatly changed. According to experts, this kind of plastic is filled with about half of the amount of talc powder produced in Liaoning Province of China from polypropylene plastics and blended to make new composite materials. CT is not only resistant to high temperatures, but also has one of the most outstanding advantages, that is, its function is similar to the PSP plastic product commonly called "foam plastic", and its volume is only equivalent to 1/4 of the latter. In this way, many troubles caused by the bulkiness are avoided during recovery, and extremely favorable conditions are created to eliminate the negative impact on the environment. Japan’s Central Chemical Corporation believes that CT will be a more suitable plastic packaging container based on the Chinese food culture, which is mostly oily, hot, and heavy-colored; and CT is expected to make the “white pollution” serious in China. This situation has been alleviated to some extent.
