Waterborne dry film adhesives benefit food packaging

It is reported that if the water-based dry coating adhesive developed by Hongfengxing Chemical (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. completely replaces the traditional solvent-based coating adhesive, Shenzhen alone can reduce 16,000 tons of toluene emissions into the air each year.

“This new type of environmentally friendly plastic film adhesive is exactly what we have been looking for for many years!” Earlier this year, procurement personnel from North China Deltech Packaging Co., Ltd. saw Hong Fengxing’s new water-based dry film adhesive, and immediately purchased more than 10 tons.

It turns out that one of Dellt's main businesses is to manufacture packaging boxes for fries, hamburgers, chocolates and other foods, and China has introduced some mandatory safety technical standards to limit the volatile chemicals content in the packaging. The solvent-based coating adhesives commonly used in the printing and packaging industry are indispensable to the use of flammable, explosive and toxic toluene as a solvent. After Dellt chose the new product from Hongfengxing, this problem was solved.
