Fault description: The hard disk number is from 1-10, of which 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10 are 5 sets of RAID1 respectively, and 1-2 of this group of RAID1 has previously replaced the 1st disk. Now, the 1st and 2nd disks are lit yellow at the same time. In the Server Raid management software, the two disks are in the OFFLINE state. In this architecture, if only one of the five RAID1 groups is broken, the entire array cannot be accessed normally and cannot be mounted on AIX. Raid10 fault detection: After analyzing the array log information by Server Raid management software, it was found that the No. 2 disk was abnormal in the past 10 years, and it did not participate in the RAID work. The No. 1 disk only made an error in the near future. After detecting and mirroring the disks 1 and 2, it was found that there was a small number of bad sectors on the 2nd disk, and the 1st disk could be read normally. Data recovery process: After detecting and mirroring the No. 1 and No. 2 disks, the data recovery engineer tried to leave the No. 1 disk on the DS4300 array, unplug the No. 2 disk, and then tried various ways to make the No. 1 in the Server Raid management software. The disk status changed to the ONLINE state. Finally, the No. 1 disk was turned into ONLINE, so I tried to view the related VG information under AIX and found that the VG information has been destroyed. Data recovery is in the next dilemma. After comparing the header information of the No. 1 disk and the No. 2 disk, it is found that the head of the No. 2 disk has relevant VG information, so the VG information of the No. 2 disk is copied to the corresponding position of the No. 1 disk, and again View VG information, LV information under AIX, this VG information is intact, the file system mount is smooth, try to start the oracle service, found that oracle can not start, reported redo1.log file error, finally after several efforts, oracle finally can get up, hurry Exp out the data in oracle, at this point, the data recovery is successful. Data recovery results: The data was 100% successful. Difficulties in data recovery: The LVM information is the key to the recovery. The LVM information of the No. 1 disk is destroyed. The data recovery engineer sees the good LVM information from the No. 2 disk, and the COPY to the corresponding position of the No. 1 disk, so that the entire recovery can be smoothly carried out. Advice to customers: It is necessary to pay attention to the replacement of the hard disk on the DS4300. It is best to replace the hard disk with the same model and firmware version. The original hard disk is different. Such a hard disk is unstable when it runs on the DS4300, and it is prone to dropout.
