It is reported that the above four institutions have been repeatedly punished by the administrative departments of the ecological environment at all levels for the quality of the EIA documents during the validity period of the qualification certificates. Accordingly, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment organized an on-site inspection of the establishment and implementation of the quality control system for the EIA documents of the above institutions, and found that none of the four institutions effectively implemented the quality control system for environmental impact assessment, and did not have the “Qualification Management Measures for Environmental Impact Assessment of Construction Projectsâ€. The qualifications stipulated in Article 8 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection (Order No. 36 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection) shall not be approved for the continuation of qualifications. Since the validity period of the four institutions has expired, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has decided to cancel its qualifications.
