4.1 Test principle

The opening tension of the clip chain refers to the force required to open the ribs and grooves of the clip chain. During the test, the two pieces of plastic film at the end containing the clip chain sample are clamped into the upper and lower fixtures of the device, so that the clip chain is in the middle of the two fixtures, and the upper fixture of the device moves upward Pulling the clip chain in the middle, the force value sensor configured in the device monitors the force value generated during the pulling process of the clip chain in real time. 5. Test process

(1) Sample cutting

Taking the clip chain as the center, 10 samples with a clip chain width of 15.0 mm were cut from the clip chain ziplock bag, 5 of which were used to test the external opening tension and the other 5 were used to test the internal opening tension.

(2) Test

Set the test speed, sample width, sample name and other parameter information, clamp the sample into the upper and lower fixtures of the device, and click the test option to start the test. The device displays the real-time force value during the pulling of the clip chain, and reports the pull-on force after the test is completed. When testing the inner opening tension, the plastic film parts on both sides of the bag body are clamped (see Figure 3). When testing the outer opening tension, the two plastic film edges on the bag mouth (the other end of the sample) are clamped .

6. Test results

In this test, the average value of the outer opening force of the sample of the self-sealing bag with the chain tested was 2.941 N / 15mm, and the average value of the inner opening force was 6.178 N / 15mm.
