2, fiberboard

Wood fiber is used as the main material, and is produced by processes such as fiber separation, molding, drying, and high pressure. The fiberboard has a density, the density is below 450 kg/m3, which is called low-density fiberboard, and the density is between 450-800 kg/m3.

Dimensions (MDF), the density of 800 kg / m3 or more is called hard fiberboard (HDF). MDF is mainly used for the production of finished furniture, but also for laminate flooring, door panels, partition walls, etc.

advantage:

1) The surface of the fiberboard is smooth and flat, and the material is fine, which is convenient for modeling and milling;

2) The toughness of the fiberboard is good, and it is not easy to break in the case of small thickness (such as 6MM, 3MM);

Disadvantages:

1) The fiberboard has poor moisture resistance, and the expansion coefficient is large after absorbing water;

2) The inside of the fiberboard is a powdery structure, and the nail holding force is poor, and the screw is easily loosened after the screw is tightened;

3) Because the strength of the fiberboard is not high, the height of the furniture should not be too high, most of which is 1800mm;

4) When the fiberboard is produced, due to its internal structural characteristics, the amount of glue used is large, and the environmental protection coefficient is low to a certain extent.

3, large core board

Also called blockboard, the middle of the blockboard is a core made of natural wood strips, and the two sides are glued with a thin veneer, as the name suggests. Its vertical direction (differentiated by core material direction) is poor in bending strength, but the lateral bending resistance is high; now most of the market is solid, rubberized, double-sided sanding, five-layer blockboard, which is currently One of the most commonly used plates in decoration.

advantage:

1) The blockboard has good clamping force, high strength, and has the characteristics of firmness, sound absorption and heat insulation;

2) Because the interior is solid wood strip, the requirements for processing equipment are not high, which is convenient for on-site construction;

Disadvantages:

1) Due to the large use of urethane glue in the production process of wood board, the formaldehyde emission is generally high, and the environmental protection standards are generally low, which is why most wood board tastes pungent.

2) At present, most of the wood board in the market is cut corners during production. When the solid wood strip is spliced, the gap is large, and there is a common void inside the board. If the nail is nailed in the gap, there is basically no nail holding force.

3) The solid wood strip inside the wood board is longitudinally spliced, so the strong bending resistance is weak, and the long-term force will cause obvious lateral deformation of the board.

4) The solid wood strip inside the wood board is different in material, the density is different, only after simple drying treatment, it is easy to warp and deform; the structure is distorted and deformed, which affects the appearance and use effect.

4, solid wood particle board

Solid wood particle board, a new type of high-grade environmentally friendly substrate, is a kind of board produced by the particle board process, which is a kind of particle board. The scientific name of solid wood particle board is oriented structure particle board. It is a kind of wood trunk (the main stem after removing branches, roots and bark). It is processed by special equipment to grow 40mm, 70mm, width 5mm, 20mm, thickness 0.3mm. , 0.7mm flank, after drying, sizing and special equipment, the surface layer slab is laid in a crisscross orientation, and then a wood-based panel is formed by hot pressing (pressure up to 3000 Pa). As a new type of high-grade environmentally friendly substrate, it has been widely used by furniture manufacturers in Europe and the United States. The domestic high-end panel furniture market has also begun to adopt this type of plate in large areas.

advantage:

1) Excellent environmental protection performance: the density of solid wood particle board is high, the wood fiber particles in the board are larger, and the essence of natural wood is retained more. The content of solid wood particle board in the use of adhesive is generally less than 5%, and the environmental protection is better. .

2) The warpage is not easy to be deformed: the solid particle board has small warpage deformation, good dimensional stability, high strength, good stiffness, and it is not easy to bend when hanging heavy clothes. The wood-based panels used in the European furniture market are mainly solid wood particle boards.

3) The nail holding force is very strong: the inside of the solid wood particle board is a granular shape with a cross-stack structure. Therefore, the nail holding power is good, and the nails and screws can be nailed. These machinable properties are significantly better than MDF.

4) Good moisture resistance: Since the raw material of the solid wood particle board is granular wood, the molecular particles are large compared with the density board, and it is not easy to absorb water.

5) Good processing performance: the solid wood particle board has the same density than ordinary solid wood, and has excellent physical and mechanical properties. It is closest to natural wood and superior to natural wood among various wood-based panels. Therefore, the machine processing performance is excellent, and it can be processed by processing the natural wood processing configuration and essentials. The interior of the solid wood particle board is a granular shape with a cross-displacement layout. The particles are arranged in a certain direction, and its longitudinal bending strength is much larger than the lateral direction.
